Pakistan, Nov. 1 -- Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi Saturday said Pakistan had vast opportunities to expand its halal products exports and secure a significant position in the rapidly growing global halal market through the effective use of science, technology and innovation.

Addressing the first Pakistan Halal Forum held in Karachi, the federal minister welcomed the initiative, describing the establishment of a dedicated platform for the halal industry as a positive step towards promoting the country's potential in this important economic sector.
