Pakistan, July 31 -- Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan declined by $229 million to $17.03 billion. The central bank attributed the decrease to external debt repayments. The country's total liquid foreign reserves stood at $22.44 billion.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan's weekly reserves statement, SBP-held reserves reached $17.03 billion during the week ended July 24, 2026. The central bank said the reduction mainly resulted from payments related to external obligations.
