Pakistan, Sept. 25 -- Pakistani security forces have foiled an alleged infiltration attempt from Afghanistan in the Chaman sector. Several Afghan Taliban personnel were reportedly killed during the operation, according to security sources.

The incident occurred along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border after an alleged attack from the Afghan side. Security forces responded after provocative firing was reported in the area. Their action prevented the attempted infiltration into Pakistani territory.

According to the sources, Pakistani forces also targeted positions linked to the Afghan Taliban. Quadcopters and mortar fire were reportedly used during the operation. The sources said several Taliban posts involved in the incident were destroyed....
