Pakistan, May 21 -- Security forces killed five terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan on Thursday. The operation targeted militants hiding in the Spinwam area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's troubled district. Moreover, security sources confirmed the death of a highly wanted militant commander during the successful raid.
According to security officials, the killed commander was Umar alias Jan Mir, also known as Tor Saqib. Authorities said he masterminded several terrorist attacks against security forces and civilians in the region.
