Pakistan, Sept. 23 -- Pakistan has foiled an alleged drone intrusion from Afghanistan, shooting down all eight drones near the border. Security sources said the incident occurred early Wednesday. The drones were reportedly sent toward Pakistani airspace.

According to security sources, Pakistan's air defence systems detected all eight drones in time. The systems then brought down the drones before they could continue their reported intrusion. Officials said Pakistan's defence network remains active along the border.

Four drones were brought down near areas adjoining the Torkham border crossing. The remaining four drones were shot down in mountainous areas near the Kohat border. Security personnel are also collecting debris from the destr...
