Pakistan, Sept. 7 -- Pakistan beat Chinese Taipei 2-1 in the Challenger Pool of the Women's Junior Asia Cup 2026 on Monday.

Lareeb Abid gave Pakistan the lead in the 30th minute with a well-taken goal. However, Chen Xiao-Qing quickly brought Chinese Taipei level just four minutes later.

Pakistan regained the advantage in the 50th minute when Sharqa Sarwar scored a field goal. The junior team then defended its lead and held on for a 2-1 victory.

The win gives Pakistan an important boost as the team continues its campaign in the tournament. The players will now look to carry their winning form into their remaining matches.
