Pakistan, Oct. 30 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) finalized critical operational decisions regarding team squads, salary caps, and player retentions for PSL Season 12. PCB officials and franchise representatives agreed upon new tournament guidelines during a comprehensive PSL operations workshop. According to official PCB statements, the deadline for franchises to submit their finalized player retentions is January 13, 2027. Furthermore, each franchise can retain a maximum of seven players from their existing squad rosters ahead of the upcoming season. Consequently, team managements have begun strategic evaluations to optimize squad balance while complying with updated retention regulations.
