Pakistan, April 8 -- Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the storming of Al Aqsa Mosque by Israeli occupation forces, calling the move a serious violation of international law and the sanctity of one of Islam's holiest sites.

According to reports, far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir entered the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in East Jerusalem under heavy police protection. The Islamic Waqf Department said he toured the courtyards after entering through the Mughrabi Gate and proceeded toward the Chain Gate before exiting along the same route.
