KARACHI, April 17 -- Pakistan has secured approval to exports fish and seafood to Russia for the first time, marking a major breakthrough for the country's fisheries sector and export industry.

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Anwar Chaudhry announced that 16 Pakistani companies have been granted permission to access the Russian market. The development is expected to significantly enhance Pakistan's seafood exports and open new avenues for international trade.
