Pakistan, Sept. 30 -- Pakistan has called for practical cooperation and tangible results as it begins its chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar made the remarks in Islamabad.
Dar addressed national coordinators from SCO member states at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Senior representatives from the SCO Secretariat and Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure also attended the meeting.
He welcomed the national coordinators to the first Council of National Coordinators meeting under Pakistan's chairmanship. India also participated in the three-day meeting, which began on September 28 and concluded on September 30.
