Pakistan, June 6 -- The Federal Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Syed Mustafa Kamal welcomed the announcement by the International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) on the designation of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) as an Observer at the ICH Assembly held on 2-3 June 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Congratulating the nation on this landmark achievement, the minister termed it a major step forward in Pakistan's journey towards a modern, globally integrated regulatory system, said a press release on Friday.
