Pakistan, April 29 -- Great Wall Motor (GWM), in collaboration with Sazgar Engineering Works Limited, has officially begun the CKD assembly of the Tank 500 in Pakistan. The milestone makes Pakistan the first country outside China to locally assemble the Tank 500 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).

Announced at an exclusive ceremony attended by senior government officials and Chinese diplomatic representatives, the development highlights Pakistan's growing importance in the global automotive and new-energy vehicle ecosystem.
