Pakistan, June 12 -- Pakistan's national football team made history by winning the Diamond Jubilee International Football Tournament 2026 after defeating Afghanistan 2-0 in the final played on Wednesday night in Male, Maldives.

Pakistan remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, securing three consecutive victories on their way to lifting the trophy. The triumph marks Pakistan's first-ever title win in the final of a standalone international football tournament, a landmark achievement for the national side.
