Pakistan, April 23 -- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that timely government measures have prevented an energy crisis in the country amid the current regional situation. He made the remarks while chairing a high-level meeting on energy security in Islamabad. The discussion focused on ensuring long-term stability in the energy sector.
The prime minister said energy security has become a critical part of national planning. He noted that proactive decisions by the government helped maintain stability in fuel and power supply. He added that strategic planning is essential to manage external risks and internal demand pressures. Officials from multiple ministries attended the meeting.
