Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- Pakistan assembled 13.1 million mobile devices during January-June 2026, with Chinese brands occupying several leading positions as local handset production continues to expand toward smartphones and 5G devices Gwadar Pro reported quoting Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) data.

During this period, Pakistan imported only 2.55 million mobile phones, highlighting the growing role of local production in meeting domestic demand.
