Pakistan, Aug. 27 -- Pakistan and Kuwait have signed a new protocol to expand defence and security cooperation between the two countries. The agreement aims to strengthen military ties and improve cooperation in several key areas. A high-level Kuwaiti delegation visited the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi for the discussions. Kuwaiti Defence Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah led the delegation.

Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif received the Kuwaiti delegation during the meeting. Kuwaiti Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Khaled Daraj Saad Al-Sharihan also attended.
