ISLAMABAD, June 2 -- Pakistan and Iran have reaffirmed the importance of diplomacy and regional stability during a telephone conversation between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

According to Pakistan's Foreign Office, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and reviewed the evolving security situation in the region. They exchanged views on recent developments and agreed to remain in close contact while continuing consultations on issues of mutual interest.
