Pakistan, Sept. 4 -- Pakistan has highlighted opportunities to expand creative and cultural cooperation with Russia's Far East. The proposal covers film, fashion, crafts, gems and jewellery. Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi raised the idea at the Eastern Economic Forum 2026 in Vladivostok.

Tirmizi spoke during a panel on taking Far Eastern brands into Asia-Pacific markets. He highlighted growing cultural engagement between Pakistan and Russia. Pakistani filmmakers, designers and artists have participated in major Russian cultural platforms.
