Pakistan, Sept. 27 -- The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and Paulo Domingues, Portugal's ambassador, discussed ways to strengthen economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Pakistan and Portugal.

The engagement provided an opportunity to explore areas of mutual interest and identify promising avenues for greater collaboration between the business communities of both countries, SIFC said in a statement on Saturday.

The discussions covered investment opportunities in textiles, agriculture, information and communication technology, pharmaceuticals and Special Economic Zones (SEZs), highlighting the potential for enhanced commercial engagement and investment partnerships.
