Pakistan, Oct. 16 -- Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb met with President of the OPEC Fund for International Development Dr Abdulhamid Alkhalifa on the sidelines of the World Bank Group-IMF Annual Meetings 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, and discussed financing for key infrastructure projects, including the M-6 motorway.

During the meeting, the finance minister highlighted Pakistan's economic stabilization, progress under the IMF programme and renewed access to international capital markets, a news release said here on Thursday.

He also appreciated the OPEC Fund's willingness to expand trade and project financing support for Pakistan.
