Pakistan, Aug. 14 -- Pakistan and Norway have agreed to strengthen cooperation against illegal immigration and terrorism. The two countries also discussed police training and mutual legal assistance.

The agreement came during Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi's meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide in Islamabad. Senior Pakistani officials also attended the meeting.

Naqvi said Pakistan's measures had contributed to a 47 percent reduction in illegal immigration to Europe. He said Islamabad follows a zero-tolerance policy against illegal immigration.
