Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- Pakistan and Malaysia are set to discuss a proposed agreement allowing prisoners to serve sentences in their home countries.
Malaysian Interior Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has arrived in Islamabad for an official visit.
During his visit, the Malaysian minister will meet senior Pakistani government officials to discuss the proposed agreement.

The prison transfer arrangement could allow more than 350 Pakistani prisoners currently held in Malaysian jails to return to Pakistan.
Under the proposed agreement, eligible Pakistani prisoners could continue serving their sentences after being transferred to Pakistani prisons.
