Pakistan, Sept. 2 -- Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan have signed several agreements covering trade, climate change, counterterrorism and information technology. The agreements aim to expand cooperation between the two countries across economic, security and other sectors. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan wants to strengthen its brotherly ties with Kyrgyzstan.
The signing ceremony took place in Bishkek and was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The Kyrgyz president also participated in the event, followed by a joint press conference. The two sides signed agreements and memorandums of understanding covering several areas.
