Pakistan, July 22 -- Pakistan and Iran have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on security, border management and regional stability, during talks between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Iranian counterpart Eskandar Momeni in Islamabad.

Momeni, who is on an official visit to Pakistan, was welcomed at the Ministry of Interior with a guard of honour presented by a contingent of the Federal Constabulary. The two ministers held one-on-one discussions followed by delegation-level talks covering bilateral relations, trade, regional developments and areas of mutual cooperation.
