Pakistan, Sept. 18 -- Pakistan and China have formally launched their Boundary Joint Commission after its inaugural meeting in Islamabad. The meeting held on September 16 and 17, according to Pakistan's Foreign Office. Both sides reaffirmed their existing consensus and agreed on a framework for future cooperation. The commission originated from the 2013 China-Pakistan Agreement on the Boundary Management System. Officials described its establishment as an important step in strengthening bilateral strategic cooperation.
