Pakistan, June 26 -- Pakistan's role as a mediator and facilitator that contributed to easing tensions between the United States and Iran was hailed at a community event organized by PML-N, USA.

The event was attended by representatives of various political parties and a large number of Pakistani-Americans from the tri-state area on Wednesday.

Pakistan's Consul-General in Aamer Ahmed Atozai was the chief guest.
