Pakistan, July 17 -- Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) Chairman Syed Qamar Raza has issued a clarification in response to a press release issued by a banned action committee. The OPF Chairman Clarification states that the committee's statement distorted the facts through speculation and misrepresented the purpose of his contact.

According to Syed Qamar Raza, his communication was made solely in a personal capacity to explore a peaceful resolution to the issue. He emphasized that the welfare of overseas Pakistanis and addressing their concerns remain his foremost responsibility.
