Pakistan, Sept. 4 -- OpenAI has unveiled GPT-6 Astra, describing the new artificial intelligence model as its most capable system yet. The company says Astra works faster and can handle more tasks than earlier models. Its launch comes as OpenAI faces growing questions about the safety of increasingly independent AI agents.

The new model follows GPT-5.6 Sol, which OpenAI released in July, and targets a wide range of professional tasks. Astra can assist with tax preparation, game development, architectural designs, legal documents and apartment searches. OpenAI said the model represents a major step in the speed, accuracy and safety of computer-based AI work.
