Pakistan, June 22 -- The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially launched online registration for Hajj 2027, allowing prospective pilgrims across Pakistan to begin the application process from today.

According to the ministry, applicants can complete their registration through the official Hajj portal. Officials clarified that possessing a passport is not mandatory during the initial registration phase, making it easier for intending pilgrims to secure their place in the process.

However, the ministry stated that a valid passport will be required at the booking stage. Applicants must ensure that their passports remain valid until at least November 16, 2027, to meet the eligibility requirements for the pilgrimage.
