LAHORE, Aug. 8 -- Sikh student Onkar Singh has made history by securing a top position in the Lahore Board Matric Annual Examinations 2026.

Onkar scored 1,189 marks and secured second position in the Science Group among boys. His achievement marks a significant milestone for the Sikh community in BISE Lahore's history.

Speaking after the results, Onkar attributed his success to his hard work, his parents' prayers and the support of his teachers.

He said he aims to pursue medical studies and become a doctor, following the professional path of his father, Dr Mimpal Singh.
