Pakistan, Sept. 1 -- One person was killed in a firing incident in the Landhi area of Karachi on Monday, according to police sources quoted by local TV channels.

Initial reports said that a man opened fire on his nephew, killing him at the scene.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police and Rescue teams reached the site and shifted the deceased's body to a nearby hospital. Police have launched a search operation to trace and apprehend the suspect allegedly involved in the shooting. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
