Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- Oil prices increased on Wednesday after Yemen's Houthis claimed an attack on a Saudi oil tanker in the Red Sea. The report raised concerns over regional security and possible disruptions to energy supplies.
Brent crude futures rose $1.07, or 1.35 percent, to $80.43 a barrel. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate futures gained 45 cents, or 0.59 percent, reaching $76.22.

The Houthis said they launched a missile attack on a Saudi tanker near Yanbu, a key oil export port. Saudi officials had not immediately responded to requests for comment on the claim.
