Pakistan, July 24 -- Global crude oil prices recorded a sharp decline on Friday, with major benchmark grades falling between three and 10 percent. The drop reflects broad weakness across international energy markets.
US crude oil fell three percent to $89.40 per barrel. Meanwhile, the decline reduced prices from recent highs seen in global trading.

British Brent crude also declined three percent, trading at $97.40 per barrel. The benchmark remains closely watched as an indicator of international oil market trends.
Moreover, UAE Murban crude recorded the steepest decline among the reported benchmarks. Its price dropped 10 percent to $97.00 per barrel.
