Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- Pakistan's Independence Day was celebrated for the first time at the iconic New York City Hall, marking an unprecedented milestone in the history of Pakistan-US community relations in the United States. The event was jointly organised by New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin and Council Member Linda Lee, in collaboration with the American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG).
