Pakistan, Sept. 3 -- A nurse who rescued a child during the PIMS tragedy has described the terrifying experience. Razia Noreen became emotional while recalling the deaths of children at the hospital. She said the tragedy continues to affect her deeply. According to her, the incident has left lasting emotional effects.

Noreen said she managed to remove the child from the ward within eight seconds. She described herself as fortunate to have acted quickly during the emergency. She said she had never undergone any emergency drill before the incident. Despite that, she managed to get the child to safety.
