Pakistan, April 23 -- At least nine people were killed in an armed attack on a mining site in Chagai District, highlighting ongoing security concerns in the region. The incident took place at a copper and gold project operated by National Resources Limited (NRL).

According to local authorities, the victims included employees working at the site, among them two security guards. Officials confirmed that the bodies were shifted to Prince Fahad Hospital in Dalbandin following the attack.
