Pakistan, Nov. 7 -- A scientist from the National Institute of Health (NIH), Pakistan, has earned international recognition by securing top positions in two research categories in the Scholarly Index Top 1000 Scholar Rankings 2026. Dr Massab Umair, Principal Scientific Officer and Head of the Virology Department at NIH, secured the 852nd position globally and second position in Pakistan in SARS-CoV-2 Detection and Testing.
