Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allegedly received a warning from the UAE before Hamas's October 7, 2023 attack. Haaretz reported that UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed raised concerns about Hamas preparations. The report said Netanyahu did not share the warning with senior Israeli security officials.
According to Haaretz, the leaders spoke by phone about ten days before October 7. The UAE president reportedly warned that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was preparing a major operation. Netanyahu allegedly believed Hamas planned an attack in the occupied West Bank. He reportedly assured bin Zayed that Israel was prepared for different scenarios.
