Pakistan, Aug. 8 -- The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority has approved a Rs0.75 per unit increase in electricity prices. The hike applies to consumers across Pakistan under the June 2026 fuel price adjustment.
According to Nepra's notification, the additional charges will appear in August electricity bills. The increase will also apply to K-Electric consumers.

The Central Power Purchasing had requested a Rs1.20 per unit increase for the June adjustment. However, Nepra approved a lower increase of Rs0.75 per unit.
