Pakistan, April 3 -- The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Friday warned of flash flooding in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until Sunday. Heavy rainfall from an active westerly system is expected to affect southern, central, and upper districts, putting residents at risk and prompting emergency preparedness. Local streams, nullahs, and urban areas could experience sudden flooding, threatening homes and infrastructure.

NDMA highlighted the districts most at risk, including Bannu, Tank, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, North and South Waziristan, Kurram, Karak, Orakzai, Kohat, Cherat, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Swabi, Charsadda, Dir, Chitral, Swat, Mohmand, and Bajaur.
