Pakistan, May 19 -- Pakistan is expected to face an intense heatwave from May 19 to May 26, with authorities warning of dangerously high temperatures in several parts of the country.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a nationwide advisory, cautioning that temperatures may exceed 42 degrees Celsius in parts of Sindh, southern Punjab, and eastern Balochistan.
According to the alert, several districts in Sindh are likely to experience severe heat conditions, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Larkana and Tharparkar.
