Pakistan, June 17 -- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif has urged Kashmiri citizens to remain peaceful and resolve issues through dialogue, calling for an end to protests and sit-ins in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. His remarks came during a high-level meeting on the political and administrative situation in the region.
Nawaz Sharif said Kashmir remains a core national issue and reiterated that his party maintains a clear stance on the right to self-determination for the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir under United Nations resolutions. He also said the development and rights of the people of Azad Kashmir remain a priority for the party.
