Pakistan, Nov. 8 -- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has extended the tenure of the party's UK leadership by one year. The extension covers UK President Ahsan Dar, Youth Wing President Khurram Butt and all existing office-bearers. They will remain in their positions until September 22, 2027.

Deputy Prime Minister Senator Ishaq Dar announced the decision in an official notification issued on November 8, 2026. Dar also heads the party's International Affairs and Overseas Pakistanis wing. He expressed hope that the leadership would continue its duties with dedication, maintain unity and work for the party and Pakistan.
