Pakistan, Sept. 27 -- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Saturday telephoned newly elected Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Dr Muhammad Najeeb Naqi and congratulated him on assuming office, terming his election a "good omen" for the region. According to a statement issued by the AJK President's Office, Nawaz Sharif expressed the hope that the new president, prime minister and other members of the AJK government would work as a team for the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the welfare of its people.
