Pakistan, May 15 -- Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that relations between Pakistan and the United States have strengthened during US President Donald Trump's tenure, as both countries continue to expand cooperation in security, counter-terrorism and regional issues.

He made the remarks during a meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Paul Kapur, according to a statement issued by Pakistan's interior ministry. The meeting was also attended by US Charge d'Affaires Natalie Baker, Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry and other senior officials.
