Pakistan, Feb. 18 -- Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said jailed former prime minister Imran Khan is receiving full medical care, rejecting opposition claims about severe vision loss as exaggerated and politically motivated.

Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Naqvi said reports that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder had lost 85% of his eyesight or completely lost vision in one eye were part of a propaganda campaign. He maintained that examinations were conducted by leading public and private specialists and that opposition representatives and nominated doctors were fully briefed on the findings.
