Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi ordered the removal of senior officials during a surprise visit to Lahore's Garden Town Passport Office after witnessing long queues, vacant counters and delays faced by citizens. The minister expressed serious displeasure over the poor arrangements and immediately directed authorities to take action. He also personally apologised to citizens for the difficulties they experienced.
During the visit, several counters were found vacant while some staff members were absent from their duties.
