Pakistan, Oct. 8 -- Nana Patekar has died at the age of 75 after suffering a cardiac arrest at his residence in Goa. The veteran Indian actor reportedly experienced chest pain before a medical team arrived to assist him. Despite attempts to revive him, he was declared dead early Thursday morning.

According to reports, Patekar was found unconscious when medical professionals reached his home. The team performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation before taking him to hospital for further treatment. Dr Shehkar Salkar of Goa's Manipal Hospital said a medico-legal case had been registered and a post-mortem examination would follow.
