Pakistan, Oct. 9 -- Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh Usman Tahir Jappa has directed government departments to create a business-friendly environment and reduce unnecessary difficulties for traders and industrialists.

He gave the directions during a meeting that reviewed the regulatory system for businesses, preparations for the 11th Thal Jeep Rally and measures to control prices of essential items. The deputy commissioner directed all relevant departments to follow laws and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while inspecting businesses and industrial units. He said no business or industrial unit should be sealed without first informing the deputy commissioner. He would then inform the Chief Secretary Punjab about the matter.
