Pakistan, July 7 -- At least six people, including five children, were killed after buildings collapsed in Mumbai following heavy monsoon rains. The downpours also disrupted road, rail, and air travel while forcing schools and colleges to close. Authorities continue monitoring the situation as severe weather affects India's financial capital.

Civic officials said two to three multi-storey houses collapsed in the Mankhurd slum area on Sunday. The incident claimed the lives of five children and one woman. Rescue teams responded to the site as authorities assessed the damage caused by the collapse.
